Jesus viewed money as an opportunity and tool to use to invest in something eternal. That’s what we believe as well. When you give to Grace, it’s not just a donation but rather an investment in the ministry and mission of Jesus. To further the proclamation of the gospel which has the power to change not just lives but whole communities and nations. Volunteering
Jesus taught whoever wants to be first must be the servant of all. (Mark 9:42-45). But Jesus didn’t just teach this principle he modeled it. We believe that serving will not only help you get and stay connected to the local church but is essential to your spiritual growth. We also believe that God has gifted each person in the body of Christ and they are an essential part to its mission and ministries ( 1 Corinthians 12:12- 30) Because of that we believe there’s a place for you here at Grace where you gifts and talents can be used and appreciated. Below you will find a list of volunteer opportunities throughout the ministries of Centerville Grace as we continue to lead people to Jesus by loving people like Jesus.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
GraceKids Volunteer
GraceKids is our Sunday morning kids program that is ever-growing. Because safety is our number one priority, we ask that every volunteer fill out a background check, as well as regularly attend Grace for about six months prior to serving.
When: Sunday mornings, 9am & 10:30am hours

Worship Team Volunteer
Our worship team is always looking for volunteer musicians and vocals. If music is your thing, let us know about it.

Guest Services Volunteer
Guest services is a great opportunity to volunteer as a greeter or cafe worker, even if you’re new to Grace. If you enjoy meeting new people and preparing coffees/teas for morning fellowship, this is just the position for you.

Landscape Crew Volunteer
We have 17 acres of beautiful grounds here at Grace, but it takes work to keep it looking beautiful. If you have a green thumb and enjoy spending time outdoors, this opportunity to serve might be for you.

Awana Volunteer
Awana is a worldwide ministry designed specifically for kids to hear the Gospel and have fun while doing so. Because safety is our number one priority, we ask that every volunteer fill out a background check before jumping in. We also offer regular training days to better equip you to serve our kids. Did we happen to mention that we’ll waive registration costs for parents who volunteer?!?

Childcare Volunteer
We have occasional Sunday afternoon functions, along with small-group gatherings throughout the week that need childcare providers. Because safety is our number one priority, we ask that every volunteer sit through a screening process and fill out a background check before starting.
