We understand that the word “disciple” is a loaded term and can mean different things to different people. We believe that a disciple is someone who wants to be like Jesus in every way possible. Jesus clearly commanded us to Go and Make Disciples (Matthew 28:19-20) just as He did through intentional and relational modeling. There are all kinds of strategies out there for making disciples. We think the best way to make disciples is to make disciple-makers, because that’s what Jesus did. That’s why making disciple-makers is our number one priority at Grace.
We are excited to have partnered with Navigator Church Ministries. Justin Gravitt, a seasoned Navigator’s missionary, and the area director for the Navigator Church Ministry (NCM) in Dayton, Ohio, is working alongside us to create a culture of disciple-makers. We are in the beginning stages, but we are already seeing some incredible results.
